After he had sent his warriors home, due to Jagex the Hutt not showing up to gigabyte battle field, Commander Cola returned to his only home he has ever known to him, Aesopia. Cola woke from what seem an endless slumber, drenched from the early morning dew, that had gently had fallen upon him while he soundly slept. Cola arose slowly to his feet, while surveying the area he slept. The sun sweeps the eastern sky as it caps the mountain summit. As Cola breathe deep the sweet smells of honeysuckle fore this grew on the northern point of Cola’s small encampment. A slight chill in the air bounds Cola as he lift head a little higher to capture some of the warmth of the morning rising sun. As Cola regains the life within from slumber of much need renewal, cola gazes his surroundings again to see if he had left anything unsecured as he sets forth to Aesopia. Aesopia, as his thoughts run wild of such fond memories of his childhood home rushing through him, giving him needed motivation to start his day. Cola, now gathering his thin bed upon the damp green blades of grass that abounds the glen he had laid. Cola neatly roll his mat and wolf skin blanket as one and place on top of his backpack. After he secures his bedding within the pack, Cola reaches for his medium leather pouch handing free from his pack. He untangles his pouch, loosening the draw string as he opens it wide to retrieve his morning snack. Only a single piece of bread and a piece of dried cheese lay with in the brown leather pouch, Cola, gently chuckles at the size of his meal and thinks to himself, this will suffice , Aesopia is only a few leagues away.
After Cola had quickly eaten his morning feast, he picks up cloak and fastens it tight around him. Cola pick up his light pack and hoist it over his right shoulder and begin his journey home. As he walks within the expanse a forest just south of his childhood home, Cola begins to dream of when he played among yews with his friends of youth. Cola remember playing hunt the highwayman, running weaving between the magnificent trees abounds. Running with no effort, for youth tires not! Running and hunting for his childhood friends who hide among trees and bushes in the fantastic forest. Cola remember scouting the ground, looking for any signs of passage of one who would crossed the path he was on. Awe, a sign! A foot prints in the soft patch of ground, what a grave mistake that was to leave so carelessly for Cola to find. As Cola looks upon the imprint he had found, he knew which robber it was he now turned his attention to, Sammy! Sammy as he thought back with an elfish grin he had as youth. Well chiseled tan face with brown curly wild growing hair, fore he cared not for bushing. Sammy had a slender build not meant for fighting or wrestling about. He was never very good at horse play as Cola thought back; Sammy would always get hurt and run home to his mum looking for comfort within his mothers embrace. But, Sammy Cola thinks had great sense of humor that has no limits, cracking jokes about everything that catches Sammy*s sight! Sammy one of Cola’s best friends in youth and has not seen him in years since Cola left the vale to seek after Jagex the Hut*. It has been to long Cola thought, since he had laid his eye upon his dear friends. Awe, then there was Dawn who remembers harassing the most. Another slender build elf, that played Highwayman with in his youth. Dawn was always faster and stealthier than Sammy, as if she was one within the surrounds. She was always the best at the games they played.
As Cola dreams upon his youth, he hears a rustling just north of his of position from where he came to quick stop! Cola’s heart begins to race, as if unseen forces begin to surround him. He follows the slightest sound of movement only moving head in silence. From the north he heard slight sound of leaves and twigs crackling underfoot moving slowly southwesterly. Colas eyes straining to see what stocks him, beyond the groves thick of bushes, sapling and majesty of the yews. As sounds, growing louder and yet unseen, Cola reaches for his Mighty Whip of Lightning Strike! Then as suddenly as it had come, it stopped! Cola crouches to the ground in silence, listening and waiting for the direction of the on coming sound. He himself, now surround by low brush, acting as a barrier between him and his invisible aggressor. As Cola wait listening to the soft breeze from the north, hoping that it might aid his tracking his assailant. Then, from the west he hears giggling, a girlish laugh among the groves. Cola begins to rise from bush bedding that he thought hid him well. As his eye crest the tops of the red berry bushes, there standing before him, an elfish woman. “Stand and deliver “she cried in a bold strong woman voice. But, who is this radiant woman who stands before me, Cola thought. This was the game he played as a child, with Sammy, Dawn, Maxi, Master, Acorina and Ahma. But, who is this, who wears aqua green armor that glistens in the high noon sun, accented with a silky royal blue cloak, edged with gold tassels. As if a bright white aura surrounds her winged helm, unable to identify which of his old friends this is! She held out her Claymore Sword extending from both hands, a sparking sheen that glistens before him.
“Arise my friend”, she says with such force, “For today is not yours.” Again she giggles with such glee; it can be none other than his great slick friend Dawn. No one was ever able best Cola in youth, other two. Min, with great stealth and speed, who glided through the trees with such ease, but now live to south on an island called Apetoll. Which leave no other than, Dawn. “Arise, my friend, for we got word that you were returning home.” Cola slow came his feet, in a dignified like manner, bushing red berries and leaves from this front tunic and Cloak. “Dawn“, he said with care to ensure his guess was correct. “Are we still playing this game? I could have sworn that I already tagged you out last time!” The warrior woman lowers her sword and places it in the scabbard upon her right hip. The lifting and widening her arms, to give Cola a warm hug. As the two embrace, she whispers into Cola’s left ear, “welcome home my dear friend, I have been waiting for you to return.” After the warm welcome hug the two separated, Cola bent down to pick up his pack off of the ground. Dawn extended her right hand, to offer to take the pack and carry it for Cola. Cola hands her the pack and she slings it over her left shoulder. Cola refastens his Magical Whip to his right hip.
The two began walking at a leisurely pace, speaking times of their childhood days. When they reached the edge of Aesopia, they stopped for a moment to catch a breath. Cola’s legs aches from the four journey stride. Dawn who stood on Cola’s left says, “There is no place like home, Cola. You need to regain strength from your last encounter with Jagex the Hutt.” How cowardly he was, not to face you in battle! To send those Fool’s in His stead!” Cola, now looking into Dawn’s dazzling, glassy green eyes, remembering Dawn was one of trust, beyond reproach, “yes, cowardly he was to just send his foolish employees taunt me, as if The Mighty Jagex is untouchable!” “But, that why I returned home for a short stay.” Dawn, sound a little upset, “”why only a short stay, your home is here, Aesopia. There is no need in pursuing this matter. You can’t win!” “Jagex the great live beyond your reach! He won’t bother himself to meet you in battle! Cola, you need to stay and rest!” she said with a sigh, “you just can’t win this one for us!” Cola now turned his head, not able to face his longtime friend, Gazing upon his only fair home. Cola, now tired and aching, feeling every bone in his body, musters the little strength left, “No Dawn, This is not over, far from over. The day was lost, a set back at best, but far from over.” “Come now my old friend, take me home where I can rest.”
